Stephanie Grenert Clegg D.V.M.
Veterinarian, Owner
Born and raised in Wooster, Dr. Clegg is excited to be providing compassionate and affordable veterinary care to her hometown. She graduated with her DVM degree from The Ohio State University and then completed a one year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA Newark Animal Hospital in Delaware. When not at work, Dr. Clegg enjoys spending time with her husband Joshua, their three children and their rescue dog Kiwi. She likes food trucks, horseback riding, reading, and Buckeye football. GO BUCKS!
Shannon Walsh D.V.M.
Veterinarian, Owner
Dr. Shannon Walsh has been a small animal veterinarian since 2015 and has spent most of that time working with the amazing patients and clients of Mairs Small Animal Veterinary Clinic. She completed her undergraduate degree at The University of Findlay and her veterinary degree at Michigan State University. She enjoys surgery, preventative medicine and building long term relationships with her patients and their owners. Dr. Shannon is from Lima, Ohio originally but has called Wooster home since 2015. She lives with her husband, young daughter, dog (James P Sullivan) and one-eyed cat (Mike Wazowski). She enjoys gardening, baking and traveling.
Mandy Shearer
Office Manager
Mandy has always had a love for animals and was excited to join our team in April of 2024. She was born, raised and still resides in Wooster. She lives with her two boys, her dog, Tosko and two cats, Rizzo and Lizzie.
Erin Kornhaus R.V.T.
Registered Veterinary Technician
Erin earned her degree in Veterinary Technology from Ross College and has been with our team since 2018. Outside of Mairs, she enjoys reading, gardening and spending time with her husband and their two cats, Nico and Cleo and two dogs, Bodhi and Sadie.
Kelly Morr
Veterinary Technician
Kelly joined our team in June of 2015. She is a graduate of Lake Erie College with her Bachelor’s in Science/Pre-Vet, and is currently pursuing her Veterinary Technology certification.
Kelly and her husband, Josh have 3 dogs (Snickers, Siren and Ellie) and a cat (Belle). In her free time she enjoys playing sand volleyball, fishing with her husband, and camping with friends and family.
Skyy Aukerman
Veterinary Technician
Skyy joined us in 2022 after graduating from Triway High School. She is currently a technician in training and attending Ross College. At home, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs and two cats.
Kaylee Compston
Veterinary Assistant/Client Services Representative
Kaylee is a graduate of Waynedale highschool. She starting working at Mairs Veterinary Clinic in July of 2024. She enjoys showing her dairy cows at the Wayne County Fair. She also has two dogs; a Dalmatian named Rosie and a Dachshund named Barkley. She also has a cat named Archie. Kaylee enjoys reading and spending time with friends and family.
Kaydence Bauman
Veterinary Assistant/Client Services Representative
Kaydence graduated from Norwayne highschool and is currently attending the University of Akron. She has been working at Mairs since 2022. She has three dogs named Solomon, Toby, and Bailey. In her free time she likes four wheeling, line dancing and spending time with friends and family
Kaity Drown
Veterinary Assistant/Client Services Representative
Kaity is pursuing a career as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She is currently studying Health Sciences at Cleveland State University. Kaity lives a very busy and bustling life with her cat Suki.
Boo Cat
Official Greeter
Boo is our clinic cat and official client greeter. You may see her wandering the lobby or hanging out on top of the front desk. In her spare time, she enjoys napping and knocking things off of counters. If you see her, be sure to say hi!
